63rd Blood Donation Camp was organised by Bhakra Beas Management Board, Chandigarh on 10.11.2020 in association with the team from Department of Transfusion Medicine, P.G.I., Chandigarh in the BBMB Rest House, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh. BBMB organizes blood donation camp every year to commemorate the death anniversary of Ex-Chairman, BBMB, LateMaj Gen B.N. Kumar. BBMB has been organising Blood Donation Camps since 33 years at BBMB, Chandigarh.
The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Harminder Singh Chugh, Member Power, BBMB. Officers and employees from BBMB field stations viz. Chandigrah, Kurukshtra, Nangal, Ganguwal&Kotla andPanipatdonated blood in this camp. On this occasion 90 officers and officials of BBMB donated blood. PGI, Chandigarh highly appreciated BBMB for the noble cause by considering acute shortage of Blood in PGI Chandigarh due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Engineer/Transmission System, Chief Engineer/System Operation, Secretary, BBMB, Special Secretary, BBMB, Director, HRD, Director, NHP, Director, Power Regulation,Jt.Secretary/Public Relation &Admn. and other senior officers of BBMB were present in this camp.
